Boudoir Photography FAQs
What can you expect from a boudoir photo shoot?
You can expect a professional relaxed but fun environment, with expert guidance on poses that flatter your best features. Our boudoir photographer is well-versed in the different types of poses that will look great in photos. We’ll make you feel comfortable and warm so that you can get the most out of your boudoir experience.
If you don’t feel comfortable posing in their studio, with other members of staff present, you can always book a hotel room or choose another private location. Hotel rooms are ideal as they are often furnished to a high standard and provide comfort and privacy. We much prefer shooting on location as it adds a quality to the shoot that you just don’t get in a studio.
When choosing how to do your hair and make up it’s always best to consult a professional hairdresser and make up artist or beautician. We can book these for you addition to the cost of your photo shoot.
As a way of helping you relax our photographer will offer champagne and have relaxing music playing. You can also request your favourite music or bring along a play list.
What to wear?
This is the most frequently asked question by far. Not sure what to bring? No problem. We suggest you pack everything up in a suitcase (yes, really) and bring them with you. We can help you narrow down your options. We’d all like to just be bathed in diamonds but if you do need ideas, Pinterest is a great resource.
Where will the shoot take place?
More and more clients like to shoot in a hotel as they feel more comfortable than posing in a studio, with other members of staff present. The client is responsible for booking the hotel room and we often travel for boudoir sessions.

Will my images be published online?
We respect your privacy and as such will never publish your images online without your express and written consent.
We do like to showcase our images, for marketing and publications. Taking part in this is optional and you’ll have the chance to opt-out, safe in the knowledge that no-one else will see your images.
Do I have to make a deposit?
A deposit of £50 is required when you book your shoot. The balance is due 7 days prior to your booked photo shoot date.
If you need to cancel your shoot we require 7 days notice, without this you will lose your deposit.
Payments can be made via Credit or Debit card, BACS transfer or cash.
Who will be present during the photo shoot?
As it is a personal session, the photographer will be the only member of staff present during the shoot. You are welcome to bring somebody with you if that would make you more comfortable. Please choose carefully as companions can sometimes be distracting and a hinderance to achieving the best results.
